Late Shri Shubhashbhai Shambhulal Khatri established Navyug Roadways in 1984 with one clear goal — to provide dependable, honest transport services from Ahmedabad. He built the business brick by brick, earning the trust of manufacturers, traders, and industries across Gujarat through decades of fair dealing and reliable service. His work earned him formal recognition from the Ahmedabad Transport Association and the deep respect of the entire transport community.

Having grown up in the transport business and worked closely alongside his father, Mr. Umesh Shubhashbhai Khatri established Navyug Logistics to expand the family's operations and bring an even wider range of services to clients across Gujarat, Maharashtra, and pan-India. Under his leadership, the company has grown its route network significantly, added specialised vehicle types, and built on the foundation of trust that his father created — while also developing the business further with disciplined operations, formal structures, and professional standards.

Late Shri Shubhashbhai Shambhulal Khatri was born into a working-class family in Gujarat and built his professional life from the ground up. In 1984, with a deep understanding of Gujarat's industrial trade routes and an unshakeable belief in honest business, he founded Navyug Roadways in Ahmedabad — laying the cornerstone of what would become a 40-year family legacy in transport.

Over the following decades, he built Navyug Roadways into a trusted name among factories, trading firms, and industrial units across Gujarat. His approach was personal — he knew his clients by name, understood their cargo requirements, and took direct responsibility for every consignment. This personal accountability became the defining trait of the Navyug brand.

He was a registered and active member of the Ahmedabad Transport Association (ATA), and in recognition of his distinguished contribution to the transport industry, he received formal professional honours from the ATA — a testament to the respect he had earned from peers and industry leaders alike.

Mr. Umesh Shubhashbhai Khatri grew up in the transport business, learning its demands, its responsibilities, and its values directly from his father. He was introduced to the industry from an early age — understanding not just the movement of goods, but the importance of relationships, reliability, and reputation in a business built on trust.

As the founder's son and the Managing Director of Navyug Logistics, he has taken the family's legacy forward with a combination of experience, personal involvement, and a commitment to growing the business responsibly. Under his leadership, Navyug Logistics has expanded significantly — adding more vehicle types, covering additional routes across Maharashtra, and building a service structure that caters to diverse cargo needs including industrial goods, chemicals, textiles, and general freight.

Mr. Umesh Khatri remains directly involved in day-to-day operations. He maintains personal contact with key clients, oversees the allocation of vehicles, and ensures that the company's standard of service — on-time delivery, proper documentation, and safe cargo handling — is consistently upheld. He believes that in the transport business, a person's word is their greatest asset, and he conducts business accordingly.

He also continues the family's association with the Ahmedabad Transport Association, maintaining the professional standing and industry engagement that his father established.

What We Carry & How We Do It

We offer part load and full truck load services across a wide range of cargo types. There are no fixed tonnage restrictions — you book exactly what you need and pay for what you use.

Industrial Goods Transport

Machinery parts, factory equipment, steel structures, boilers, pipes, and general industrial cargo — handled with proper securing, experienced drivers, and safe delivery to factory gates and GIDCs across Gujarat and Maharashtra.

Chemical Transport

Safe, compliant transport of industrial chemicals to chemical zones including Ankleshwar GIDC, Dahej, Vapi, and Pandesara. Our drivers are experienced in handling chemical cargo with the required care and documentation.

Textile & Fabric Cargo

Careful, covered transport of textile goods for Surat's fabric industry — Pandesara, Sachin GIDC, and Mumbai are regular destinations on our network. Goods are handled without damage or exposure.

Part Load (LCL) Service

You do not need a full truck to use Navyug. Book only the space your goods require. We consolidate loads efficiently so that part-load clients benefit from regular, scheduled departures on all major routes without unnecessary waiting.

Full Truck Load (FTL) Service

A dedicated truck for your full consignment — flatbed, container, open body, or lowboy as required by your cargo type and destination. Direct, non-stop delivery with no intermediate handling of your goods.

Heavy & Oversize Cargo

For cargo that does not fit a standard truck — oversized machinery, large fabricated structures, or exceptionally heavy loads — we have lowboy trailers, hydraulic platforms, and multi-axle arrangements available on request with proper permits.

Our Transport Process

We follow a clear, step-by-step process for every consignment — from the moment you call us to the moment your goods are delivered and documented. No confusion, no surprises.

Enquiry & Requirement Discussion

You contact us by phone or WhatsApp and share the details of your consignment — origin, destination, type of goods, approximate weight or volume, and your preferred delivery date. Our team listens carefully and asks any necessary clarifying questions to understand your exact requirement.

Direct line to the Managing Director — no middlemen

Rate & Vehicle Confirmation

Based on your requirement, we provide a clear and honest freight rate — whether for a part load or full truck load. The vehicle type best suited for your cargo (flatbed, container, open body, lowboy, etc.) is discussed and confirmed at this stage. There are no hidden charges. What is quoted is what is billed.

Transparent pricing — no surprises on billing

Booking Confirmation & Bilty Preparation

Once agreed, the booking is confirmed and the consignment note (bilty / lorry receipt) is prepared with full details — consignor name, consignee name, goods description, weight, destination, and agreed freight. This document serves as the formal contract for the transport and is provided to the client for their records.

Cargo Loading & Securing

Your goods are loaded at the pickup point — either at your factory, godown, or a specified location. Our team ensures the cargo is properly loaded, positioned, and secured using appropriate material (ropes, straps, wooden supports as needed) to prevent any movement or damage during transit. For chemicals, industrial goods, and textiles, loading is done with the specific care those goods require.

In-Transit Monitoring & Communication

Once the truck departs, our vehicles are tracked via GPS. You can contact us at any point during transit for an update on your consignment's status and estimated arrival time. We proactively communicate if there are any significant updates — road delays, diversions, or changed arrival estimates — so that your receiving team can plan accordingly.

Delivery at Destination

The truck arrives at the agreed delivery address — factory, godown, warehouse, or site — within the committed timeframe. Our driver coordinates with the receiving team to ensure smooth unloading. For time-sensitive or sensitive cargo, arrival confirmations are communicated in advance.

Proof of Delivery (POD) & Closure

Upon successful delivery, a signed Proof of Delivery (POD) is obtained from the consignee. This is retained in our records and can be shared with the consignor on request. All documentation — bilty, delivery receipt, and POD — are maintained in an organised manner for reference, billing, and any future requirements.
